Ladies and gentlemen, we have an Amphion competition winner

Our regular readers might remember that a while ago we announced a competition where you had to come up with a dialogue in order to win a pair of Amphion speakers – which are fantastic, by the way. As we received a lot of answers it took a while to go through them.

We can however now present our top 5 favourites – and may we take this opportunity to remind you the four runners-up will of course recieve nothing.

5. The weird dialogue
Amphion speakers are a lot of things, but hungry? We don’t really see that. But dialogue still feels natural. Well done. 

4. The suck-up dialgoue
Mentioning the Kasper Stromman Illustrated Design Encyclopaedia (WHICH YOU CAN BUY HERE BY THE WAY) is always a great way of catching our attention, as is recycling Ali G jokes. But unfortunately it’s not quite enough to win.

3. The random dialogue
This is not so much a dialogue, as it is words taken out of another context and then just never placing them in a new one. But we do appreciate the minimal effort that went into this. 

2. The music nerd’s dialogue
Referring to artsy/avant garde music of course makes you really cool and everything, but come on – if you are planning to just listen to some weird static through your speakers we might as well give them to somebody else.

1. The winning answer
See, the trick is not to try to much – at that is why this conversation perfectly encapsulates the minimalist spirit of Finnish design.
