Insignificant Helsinki landmarks #7: Sturenkatu 37

Sturenkatu 37. An ordinary looking house, you say. Well, not quite – because here’s where Karl-August Fagerholm lived in the 1930s.

Karl-August–who, you might ask, and we don’t blame you. But we checked up on the guy, and turns out he was Prime Minister of Finland on and off in the late 1940s and again in the 1950s.
Wow. Trams number 6 and 8 will take you to this magical house – try not to go all at once.
